DePaul Marketing exists for one kind of client: the business owner or marketing lead who wants to know exactly what their marketing spend produced. Here is how we think, how we work, and how to tell if we fit.
What we believe
Marketing is a math problem wrapped in a craft problem. The craft is real: writing pages people trust, building sites that load fast, creating ads people act on. But the craft only matters if the math closes. Cost per lead, close rate, customer value. If a campaign cannot survive that arithmetic, it gets cut, no matter how good it looks.
Tracking comes before tactics. The most common thing we find in a new account is not bad marketing. It is unmeasured marketing: ads with no conversion tracking, calls nobody attributes, forms that fire no events. We fix measurement first because every decision after depends on it.
Search is bigger than Google now. Buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews the same questions they used to type into a search bar. Content on this site, and content we build for clients, is structured so machines can extract and cite it. That is not a trend we are watching. It is a service line we run.
Honesty is a competitive advantage. We do not guarantee rankings, invent case studies, or promise timelines we cannot hit. Plenty of agencies do. The clients they burn eventually call someone like us, so in a strange way we should thank them.
How we work
Every client program starts with a written plan: the target market, the keywords or audiences, the assets to build, the schedule, and a realistic outcome range. You approve it before work starts. Each month you get a one-page report tied to leads and revenue, with the full data behind it. Strategy calls are with the people doing the work, not an account layer.

- Anyone who needs guaranteed page-one rankings in writing
- Businesses that cannot answer the phone or follow up on leads
- Products with no proof of demand yet
- Budgets under $1,000 per month, which usually buy activity, not outcomes
- Industries we cannot verify or ethically promote
